Steps to Bespoke Software

1 - Consultation

Once you have decided on the requirements we have an initial meeting to further discuss the proposition.

2 - Quotation

From the initial consultation we will provide detailed costing, and an implementation plan with timescale.  The price is fully inclusive:

  • Site visits
  • Specification
  • Design & Coding to your requirements
  • Installation and fine tuning once running
  • Training & initial support
  • Software Purchases

3 - Specification

A specification is produced to describe the scope and functionality of the project. We spend time listening and understanding to quantify your needs exactly. This ensures the software does the job you want it to do. Once agreed the specification forms the basis development, testing and completion.

4 - Development

Your application is developed in stages, allowing you to approve and comment at every phase.

  • Working prototypes are produced quickly. This avoids misunderstandings that arise from difficult to visualise, lengthy written specifications
  • You comment on functionality, usability and performance of the application at an early stage.
  • The program is then successively refined based on your feedback.
  • This approach gives you the confidence, throughout, that the finished program will meet all your expectations

5 - Installation

Your application is then installed, integrating it with your other applications. This may involve importing data from existing systems. All necessary training requirements will be provided.

6 - Testing and Handover

For larger application a period of user testing is required where bugs are discovered and fixes provided.  We do not stop until your application is completely reliable and you are totally happy with it.

7 - Support

We continue to support and maintain software after the initial project is completed. We fix any bugs free of charge, whenever they are discovered.
